About Collywobbles
Collywobbles is a wellbeing community rooted in connection, evidence based practice, safety and compassion. Based in Inverness, Scotland, we connect adults, children, young people, and families in the Highlands with independent therapists who support mental health and emotional wellbeing through holistic, trauma-informed approaches.
Founded by Katrina Tickle, a highly experienced Psychological Therapist, Collywobbles was created from a deep belief that meaningful change happens when the right therapeutic approaches are combined with genuine connection — connection with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through Collywobbles, individuals are connected with therapists who bring this ethos into their work, offering thoughtful, compassionate support tailored to each person’s needs.
Katrina has spent over 15 years working in children’s mental health across both the NHS and private sectors. Her vision for Collywobbles has always extended beyond childhood, recognising that people at all stages of life benefit from access to supportive, skilled therapists and a sense of connection within a wider community.

Our Approach: The Whole Person, The Whole Community
At Collywobbles, we focus on the whole person. Through our platform, we connect people with therapists who understand the impact of an activated nervous system and who use evidence-based approaches to support regulation, healing, and growth. Their work often centres on building resilience, self-esteem, confidence, connection, and joy, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
We also recognise that meaningful change doesn’t happen in isolation. Community sits at the heart of Collywobbles, and alongside therapy, we aim to create opportunities for connection and support. This may include family support, parent-led work, and creative wellbeing programmes, all designed to help people feel seen, supported, and understood.
A Future of Wellbeing for All
We are passionate about early intervention and prevention, and our vision extends beyond this. We believe in a future where everyone — children, young people, and adults — can access mental health and wellbeing support through connection with skilled therapists, without stigma or barriers.
At Collywobbles, we are committed to fostering connection, curiosity, and care by helping people find the right support for them. Through these relationships, meaningful and lasting change can grow within individuals, families, and communities.

Core Values
Safety
We are committed to maintaining high standards across Collywobbles and continuously reflecting on and improving the support we offer. Therapists working with Collywobbles engage in regular supervision and are responsible for safe, ethical clinical practice. Together, we aim to create an environment where every person feels secure, supported, and valued.
Compassion
Therapists working with Collywobbles take a compassionate, non-judgemental approach, meeting each person with empathy, warmth, and kindness. They respect individual journeys and create a space that supports healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Creativity
We believe that creativity has the power to unlock self-expression, healing, and transformation. Therapists may incorporate creative approaches to help people of all ages build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Joy
We recognise that joy can feel like one of the most vulnerable emotions, often emerging when more difficult feelings are allowed space to be processed. Through supportive therapeutic relationships, individuals can build emotional strength, allowing a deeper and more lasting sense of joy and wellbeing to grow.
Connection
Strong relationships sit at the heart of Collywobbles. We recognise the importance of connection — between individuals, families, and the therapists they work with — and the role this plays in supporting trust, resilience, and growth.
Innovation
We embrace new ideas, approaches, and technologies to enhance the way people access support. By staying curious and adaptable, Collywobbles continues to evolve as a platform that connects individuals and families with therapists who meet their needs.
Our Belief:
We believe everyone — regardless of age or difficulty — should be able to access wellbeing and emotional support. By helping people connect with the right support at the right time, we aim to encourage early intervention and a preventative approach to mental health.
All therapeutic services are provided by independent therapists working through Collywobbles, who are responsible for their own clinical practice.
